Guided by an expert ranger in an open safari vehicle, you’ll journey through Amakhala’s vast wilderness — home to the Big 5, as well as cheetah, giraffe, zebra, black wildebeest, and a wide variety of antelope and birdlife.

What to Expect on Your Day Safari
Arrive at 09h00 (summer) and 10h00 (winter) for a warm welcome, easy check-in, and a short orientation before your adventure begins. At 09h30 (summer) / 10h30 (winter), join your experienced ranger and set off on an exciting guided safari through the breathtaking Amakhala Game Reserve.
After your morning in the wild, unwind and savour a delicious 2-course lunch with two refreshing soft drinks at 12h30. Guests joining the full-day safari can look forward to even more wildlife encounters with a second game drive from 13h30 to 15h00 — the perfect ending to an unforgettable day surrounded by nature.
